What are some OLD good movies ?!

Question: You think that the Eighties films are OLD? Oh dear... It's too bad you don't open yourself up to older films since those are relatively recent. You aren't even learning about actors you aren't familiar with, which is too bad. However, I'll try to stay with the Eighties:
Back to the Future trilogy
Karate Kid trilogy
Star Wars IV-VI (Yes, the first one is in the Seventies, but...)
Indiana Jones trilogy
Mad Max trilogy
E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Driving Miss Daisy
A Christmas Story
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
My Neighbor Totoro (animated and amazing!)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Adventures in Babysitting
Beetlejuice
Urban Cowboy
On Golden Pond
Time Bandits
Airplane!
The Blue Lagoon
Coal Miner's Daughter
The Elephant Man
Die Hard
Little Darlings
Rain Man
Twins
A Fish Called Wanda
The Right Stuff
Hairspray (the original!)
Desperately Seeking Susan
WarGames
All the Right Moves
Risky Business
Bad Boys~Sean Penn and Esai Morales
The Big Chill
Mask
Short Circuit
The Last Starfighter
Fright Night
Ladyhawke
The Dark Crystal
Return to Oz
The Never-Ending Story
Night of the Comet
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
Splash
Grease 2
Tempest
Tootsie
Arthur
Victor/Victoria
Stand and Deliver
The Legend of Billie Jean
My Favorite Year
The Breakfast Club
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The Outsiders
Mr. Mom
Moscow on the Hudson
National Lampoon's Vacation
Irreconcilable Differences
A Chorus Line
Electric Dreams
Ghostbusters 1 & 2
St. Elmo's Fire
Pretty in Pink
Ruthless People
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Killer Klowns from Outer Space~something completely different//a very scary sci fi film with comedic touches
Dead Poets' Society
Feds~cute comedy with Rebecca DeMornay and Mary Gross
Dirty Dancing
Frantic~Harrison Ford//This one is a great thriller!
Mannequin
The Princess Bride
Fresh Horses~Molly Ringwald in a grownup role
Lethal Weapon
Good Morning, Vietnam
Look Who's Talking
The War of the Roses
Clara's Heart
When Harry Met Sally...
Beaches
Big
The Boy Who Could Fly
Crocodile Dundee 1 & 2
Down and Out in Beverly Hills
Roxanne
Some Kind of Wonderful
Throw Momma from the Train
Summer School

I pared down my list to the requested comedy and teens, with a few exceptions. I see that others are suggesting some classics, which I would have done if that is what you had asked for. Too many older films get overlooked.

EDIT: The Back to the Future trilogy movies were pretty fun.

Depending on your age what do you consider old?
Black and white movies? Or movies like from the 80's or something?

Less Than Zero (1987)
Plot. A college freshman returns to L.A. for the holidays at his ex-girlfriend's request, but discovers that his former best friend has an out-of-control drug habit.
cast.
Andrew McCarthy, Jami Gertz, Robert Downey Jr. & James Spader

Comedies:
What's Up Doc? (1972)
Murder By Death (1970's)

Drama:
Witness for the Prosecution (1940's?)
Rear Window (Hitchcock!!!....need I say more? :)

16 candles is a classic and revenge of the nerds is funny!

You can't go wrong with any of Sir Alfred Hitchcock's older films, like Dial M for Murder, Rear Window, Vertigo, Rebbecca, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Strangers on a Train, Shadow of a Doubt, and North by Northwest.

For comedy, check out the Marx Brothers! Some must-see Marx Brothers movies are A Night in Casablanca, A Night at the Opera, Horse Feathers, Duck Soup, The Big Store, and At the Circus.

Epic, classic films to see would be The Ten Commandments, The Sound of Music, Gone With the Wind, Ben Hur, and The Wizard of Oz.

Other good Bogart films (aside from Casablanca, of course) are The Treasure of Sierra Madre and The River Queen.

Finally, for the Christmas season, try It's a Wonderful Life and the original Miracle on 34th Street.

back to the future, ghost busters, ext...

Pretty in Pink
The Jerk
Pennies from Heaven
Grease
Saturday Night Live
Stayin' Alive

I'm too depressed to add more. My kids liked these movies ... and now I feel sooo old! ;-)

oh, Alfred Hitchcock's "the birds", if your looking for some great old horror
