I don't know, there are a lot of good shot outs. I personally like the shoot out at the end of Reservoir Dogs.
"Best" shoot-ou?? ... that's a tough one - there have been some really great shootouts ... I liked the running gun-battle in the streets of L.A. in "Heat" ... John Woo has given us some really spectacular (if unrealistic) gun-fights in his various projects with Chow Yun Fat... then there are the John Woo inspired directors taking advantage of the "bullet-time" technology to show us something new & different in "The Matrix" ... and let's face it - the river battle in "Tombstone" was pretty darn cool, too!
