To have such a powerful and beautifully haunting "Love Theme" in a movie filled with violence is one more reason I consider "The Godfather" series to be one of the best, if not the best movie series ever to come out of Hollywood

Speak Softly Love is the technical name. There's two versions. One with lyrics-Speak Softly Love, and one that is instrumental which is more commonly known as The Godfather Theme. I believe John Williams composes it.
