Why are "Superman" movies an insult to our "Smarts"?!
Question: How can it be if a man (Superman) removes his glasses then no one knows who he is. If I go into work tonight without my glasses my co-workers still know who I am.

Yea everyone thought that was pretty wierd back in the day when the comics first came out, but yea it is pretty wierd/funny

The same way people can tell twins apart.
If they have completely different personalities and have a few small physical differences, it's hard to say they are the same person.

No one expects a person like Clark Kent to be a superhero. He's the last person they would suspect of it. They aren't comparing pictures of the both of them like you are.
If you're not looking for something then you won't find it. They are just looking for Superman's identity in the wrong place thus they aren't finding it.
