What did you think about the movie "The Mist"?!
Question: I enjoyed the movie, it definitely explored the realm of how far people would go when faced with fear and doom....especially that holy roller Mrs. Carmody, she was scary! I think one of my favorite lines in that movie is: Welcome to Sesame Street, today's word of the day is "expiation."
I liked seeing all those ghastly creatures, and I knew they'd run out of gas eventually, but the ending was kind of freaky, now that guy has to live with what he did, now that the world sort of went back to normal again.

Haven't watched it yet
I read the story. Really great although the ending left it hanging. I thought the ending on the movie was a real downer.
The short story sucked (IMHO)
The movie was pretty good, but dragged a little, and as another poster said, the ending was a major downer.
It kept me on the edge of my seat and left me scared for days after. Stephen King really hit home with this one.
