belive it or not Fantastic Four..............it the most "attach-to comic-book-story" of them all (Hulk, spider man, etc..) believe me that's what you want being a comic book reader, why change the hole story?, it's perfect the way it is!
It's a toss up between Spider-man and The Hulk........
X Men, followed close by Spider man.
I like Micheal Keaton as Batman and I'm looking forward to the Iron Man movie coming soon. I would also like to see one about Dr Strange

I also like the first 2 X-men, but 3 was stupid beyond stupid.
Daredevil was sucky
Ghostrider was good
Fantastic Four was....okay
never saw Punisher
Hulk was great
Batman Begins was good
I don't know if it is what you would consider modern but Batman with Michael Keaton, though it doesn't follow the arc I grew up with both main characters are brilliant. Of course there is nothing better than Superman(Christopher Reeves) and not that crap actor they just had play him.
If it is more recent past ten years you are wanting than I kinda like all of them except the Hulk that was as horrible as the Catwoman. I can't wait to see Iron Man but the top of the list is Spiderman I thought he did a great job with it.
