Question: The movie is romance with science fiction I think, its a 90's movie, I saw only the beginning and the end when I was little, the guy takes his sick brother-in-law to a doctor that tricks them into believing that he has the cure for an illness the brother in law has. The guy left his young wife and small daughter behind he and his brother-in-law wake up many years later and his daughter is an adult and his wife is old, but in the end they stay together and work things out. I don't know any more, Oh, the guy and his wife had a scar on their backs, I don't know how they got it. Please tell me the title so I can see it again and COMPLETE! Thanks 4 all your help! ^_^

One with a vaguely similar theme is 'Forever Young' with Mel Gibson, from 1992.
However, he gets himself put into cryogenic sleep voluntarily when his wife is in a coma after a car accident. So it doesn't sound like the one you are after.
