In episode 5 his helmet was partially removed in his personnel room also remember when Solo captured he was sitting on table ready to have meal with his prisonners
maybe he took his mask off.

he used the force to liquefy stuff then drank it with a straw going to his mouth from a liquid food pouch on his belt

It was mostly intravenous protein solutions and things the "suit" used to meet those needs.
In "The Empire Strikes Back" Darth Vader's helmet and mask are briefly removed when he is in some sort of chamber, so he would probably eat during those times when his helmet and mask can safely be removed if in fact he needs to eat at all because he is mostly machine by this part in the story.
