How good is the quality of a movie that's only 700mb?!

Question: lets say i downloaded a full movie (.avi) at 700mb.. what kind of picture quality can i expect if i burn to dvd? will atleast be vhs quality?

Whatever b the length of the movie, if its encoded correctly there wont b any decrease in quality.I have over 250 movies of 700 mb and all of them r crystal clear.

You forgot to mention the time length.

Well, I have a movie that's 1.65GB, about 2 hours long, and its resolution is 704 x 396. Expect the movie you're downloading to be smaller than 704 x 396 if it's 2 hours long as well.
