Anyone see 'The Mist' yet?!
Question: I'm not going to give it away to those of you who haven't seen it. But to those of you who have, I thought it wasn't scary but very suspensfull. ending was FUKED UP. Every movie you go to there's always that group of guys mocking, laughing, and blurting out silly comments. We had that group at the movie last night, but midway through the show you coulda heard a pindrop in the theatre. What is your take on the show. Mind you, I'm a horror movie buff. If you're not your criticism of the film will still be appreciated.

I thought the suspense coupled with what the Mist brought with it created horror in the movie. The ending was definitely messed up. Someone else said it best in, "I would have at least waited for something to happen before..."
In my theatre, there were people making stupid comments and yelling out during the movie. There was even a couple who decided to come to this movie to chat and make out. However, similar to what happened in your theatre, everyone went quiet midway through the movie.
I loved it. I found it to be scary. I think it was the fact of imagining what I would do under such circumstances or if I encountered such things in a fog or mist that can't be immediately seen (a/k/a the fear of the unknown).
i've never seen it but i heard its pretty decent
This was the worst movie I've ever seen. I just left the theater and can't stop laughing at the idiodic script. The acting was horrible at best. When drama was attempted, they overplayed the parts horribly mixed in with some anti-political and religious propaganda. I laughed hysterically through a lot of the movies lame plot, that never did climax. All I could think of was what Mystical Science Theater 3000 would have done to this colossal jewel of crap. Now If those silhouettes were on the screen that would have been a show.
