yes i am so excited for this movie!!! can't wait for Dec. 21st to roll around. i kno johnny is a really good singer. Heres a video of his studio time on myspace

its a tim burton musical. Its defenetly not like edward scissorhands. because sweeny is a murderer. its also based on a play

Sweeny Todd, the butchering barber of 5th Street. A classic stage play, most definitely not Scissorhands-esque in the least.
As far as it goes, I'm not holding high expectations for this movie, since stage to screen adaptations are kind of hit and miss, but it'll be a success just on the star power draw of Johnny Depp, even if the movie is a pile of moose shiete.
Oh well, we'll see how it does, I wasn't impressed with his act in From Hell, so I do have my doubts about how he'll come across in this movie. And, for the record, he's keeping that bad attempt at an Englishman's accent due to the story of Sweeny Todd being set in London.
I am going to go see it this christmas. I love Tim and Johnny!!! Both are so gorgeous!!!

do you know that movie is based on a musical by stephen sondheim? his musicals and songs inspired the desperate housewives episodes' names. lol.
