Ann Rices books "Interview with the Vampire", "The Vampire Lestat" , and "The Queen of the Damned" are the only books that ever spooked me; literally had me looking over my shoulder as I read them in bed at night...! So the movies that were based on the books would probably be my favorites...I thought they followed the books very closely. Then I would have to say " Bram Stoker's Dracula" with Gary Oldham and Winona Rider followed as a close third, and of course before that, Bella Legosi was always "Dracula" to me.
Also Got a real kick out of Martin Landau's potrayal of Legosi in " Ed Wood" with Johnny Depp.

The Little Vampire.

The original Dracula. Hands down.
