Is there a Star Wars dvd set that includes ALL of the movies, old and new?!

Question: Not yet but it will happen ... Lucas hasn't given a certain date for the release. There is actually a problem with releasing all 6 of them in a box set ... that problem is what version of the OT ( ep 4 - ep 6) as there are 3 different sets. The first is the OT as it was seen in 77, 80, & 83 ... then we have the SE (Special Edition) versions that were done and released with better special effects ( and the stupid changes that had Greedo firing first at Han ... the sad scream that Luke lets out as he plunges down the garbage chute that he used to escape Vader on Bespin ... there are others but most of them were good changes) during the run up to the pre-quel movies ... then come the DVD versions that make more special effects changes that all but one make great sense ... the bad one is the "Ghost Switch" that put young Anakin's ghost standing there with Obi-Wan and Yoda at the end of Return Of The Jedi.

It was mentioned by somebody else here that there was a kind of "package" deal with the release of the unaltered versions of the OT. If you bought ep 4 it would also have a copy of ep 1 with it and so on.

Anyways ... bottom line is that they are coming we just don't know when yet.

So far, there hasn't been a box set with all 6 movies. For now, I think the closest you can come is getting a set of the original trilogy (IV-VI), a dual pack with episodes 1 & 2, and episode 3 on its own. There doesn't seem to even be a box set of all 3 prequel trilogy movies.

not yet, i'm afraid

there is a 123 set and a 456 set
no 123456 set yet
