In your opinion, what is the greatest movie of all time and why?!

Question: I think it's Titanic. It's a classic film (yes, yes, I know it came out only ten years ago. That doesn't impede on the quality of the movie) and it's got such a great storyline. It's interwoven, but not complicated. It's dramatic, but not overly so. It's got a great love story with an AMAZING couple that none other can compare to (The Notebook doesn't even come close). It's got the perfect actors for all the parts (The man who plays Cal, his name escapes me, was very good). It's clever and funny and sad and no matter what anyone else says, I would not have it end any other way. James Cameron did an amazing job on this. Just like "Gone With the Wind", I do not think this movie will be forgotten for many, many years to come.

Pay It Forward - What a tragic movie with an idealistic concept. This movie really moves me. Since I saw it the first time I came to realize that the world is about all of us. Good deeds can truely improve the world. Yesterday I found a homeless person and invited them into my house for dinner. I don't want anything in return I just hope they "pay it forward" if they get the chance.

In my opinion, the greatest movie would be Forrest Gump.

Star Wars. Love it or not, it is an icon of pop culture. It isn't my favorite, but it had such a huge influence , that I would go with it.

300 the fight scenes are incredible!

"Tombstone" from 1993 with Kurt Russel, Val Kilmer, and Sam Elliott.

Great modern day production of a classic western-style movie.

To me it is Gone With the Wind...produced in 1939...and poeple still watch it today...great movie....great actors.

Well as far as acting ability Al Pacino in the Godfather is considered acting 101 in most film schools and well is considered by the masses to have the best acting then any other film to date. I love the movie it's not my favorite film but as far as acting and craft there is no comparison.

Modern Times, with Charles Chaplin. So in tune with the time(the Great Depression), so insightful, with such great acting!

Batman Begins.
It's batman--do you need a better reason?
