Why would someone want to see the movie "I Am Legend"?!
Question: I saw the coming attractions and it shows will smith as the last remaining survivor after a world catostrophic event takes place.

Its not just him, the vampires are there too, plus he has to find a way to cure them, it actually looks like a pretty good movie, in my opinion anyway. And i here it sticks pretty close to the book
Hi! Will Smith was not alone in that movie. The virus turned the humans into vampires not zombies. You have to admit.. it's pretty intriguing. I would be waiting for that movie. Hope you will too.
There isn't just one actor. I'm not going to ruin the plot for people who haven't read the book, but he's not really the last man on Earth.
Jeeeeeeez, people, COME ON!!! Haven't you ever seen the ORIGINAL, "The Last Man on Earth", with Vincent Price (1964), or the FIRST remake, "The Omega Man", with Charlton Heston (1971)??? There's not "only 1 actor" in the movie! Don't judge an entire movie based on a trailer! Helllllloooooooooo... The "kicker" in the movie is that Neville THINKS he's the last person on Earth; then he finds out he's NOT. But the other survivors aren't human any more - they're vampires. So, there are a LOT of actors in this movie. Go buy a clue, dude.
(By the way, this remake with Smith is the only one that bears the same title as the novel on which it's based, "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson.)
Will Smith is probably one of the most successful and well liked actors of his generation. I'm interested in how well he can pull it off. I only hope that the script is well written.
This is one of those movies where the viewer asks himself "what would I do in his situation?". You never thought what you would do if you were completely alone?"
Anyway I hope the script is done well and this film isn't just a series of eye-candy shots.

i saw an extended 6 minute preview. its not just will wandering around aimlessly. he fights aliens too. most movies only concentrate on 1 or 2 actors anyway.
Edit: ok so apparently he fights vampires, not aliens. either way he aint alone.
i guess you havent seen all of the trailers, where he is fighting the Vampires, plus people who have read the book will want to see it for sure

boy im glad i read all the answers to this. ive wanted to see this movie and all of you cleared this up for me I thought they were zombies too not vampires puts a whole new twist on it for me
I think its going to be a great movie. I am reading the book right now. And sadly the book is nothing like the movie, I think.
