Damn it Louis S. Everytime I watch Spider-Man 2 that speech always brings a tear to my eye and now you managed to do it as well.

Some of mine are:
Alfred Borden: Never show anyone. They'll beg you and they'll flatter you for the secret, but as soon as you give it up... you'll be nothing to them. - The Prestige

Flass: [to interrogate Flass, Batman lays a snare-trap which yanks Flass by his leg 70 feet into the air] I never knew! I swear to God!
Batman: Swear to *me*! - Batman Begins

Patrick Bateman: I have to return some videotapes. - American Psycho

Spider-Man: [unmasked, holding up the collapsing wall] Hi!
Mary Jane Watson: Hi!
Spider-Man: This is really heavy... MJ, in case we die...
Mary Jane Watson: You do love me...
Spider-Man: I do.
Mary Jane Watson: Even though you said you didn't.
Spider-Man: [nods] - Spider-man 2

Mary Jane Watson: [standing at Peter Parker's door] Had to do what I had to do.
Peter Parker: Mary Jane.
Mary Jane Watson: Peter. I can't survive without you.
Peter Parker: You shouldn't be here.
Mary Jane Watson: I know you think we can't be together, but can't you respect me enough to let me make my own decision? I know there'll be risks but I want to face them with you. It's wrong that we should be only half alive... half of ourselves. I love you. So here I am - standing in your doorway. I have always been standing in your doorway. Isn't it about time somebody saved your life?
Mary Jane Watson: Well, say something.
Peter Parker: Thank you, Mary Jane Watson.
Mary Jane Watson: [They kiss, which is interrupted by police sirens. Peter stands, conflicted on whether he should respond. Mary Jane, with an accepting smile, responds:] Go get 'em, tiger. - Spider-Man 2

"Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the f***ing Peace Corps." (Animal House)

The first one is great, so sad. My favorites are:
"I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse."
The Godfather
"Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
The Godfather Part II
"You put the wrong em-PHA-sis on the wrong syl-LA-ble." View from the Top
"Here's looking at you kid"
Casablanca
"Say hello to my little friend."
Scarface

I love movies

"I'll think about that tomorrow.~After all, tomorrow IS another day."~~Scarlett (nee O'Hara) Wilkes Kennedy Butler (Vivien Leigh) in "Gone With the Wind" (1939)

"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."~Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) making his departure from Scarlett in "GWTW"

"What we've got here is ~~ failure to communicate."~Captain (Strother Martin) in "Cool Hand Luke" (1967)
Paul Newman's Luke might deliver this line later (adding "a" for "is a failure"), but it's Strother's quirky-sounding voice that people mimic or simply recall.

"I've been kidnapped by Kmart!"~prisoner Barbara Stone (Bette Midler) to husband-and-wife abductors Ken and Sandy Kessler (Judge Reinhold and Helen Slater) after learning that husband Sam (Danny DeVito) is haggling over the ransom in "Ruthless People"

"Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?"~Princess Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) to disguised rescuer Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in "Star Wars IV: A New Hope"

"Let the Wookie win!"~C3PO to R2D2 in "Star Wars IV" (Oddly, people seem split on Wookie vs. Wookiee.)

"I am the Chosen One, and I choose to go shopping!"~Buffy Summers (Kristy Swanson) in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

"Flash, Flash, I love you, but we only have 14 hours to save the Earth!"~Dale Arden (Melody Anderson) to Flash Gordon (Sam J. Jones) in "Flash Gordon" (1980)

"Save the rabbits! Save the rabbits!"~Franky (Angelina Jolie) and Joe/Sky Captain (Jude Law) sharing a private joke, much to Polly Perkins' (Gwyneth Paltrow) chagrin in "Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow"

"Good boy, Dax."~Joe's oft-repeated commendation of inventor Dax (Giovanni Ribisi) in "Sky Captain..."

"I remember when my daddy gave me that gun. He told me that I should never point it at anything in the house and that he'd rather I'd shoot at tin cans in the backyard. But he said that sooner or later he supposed the temptation to go after birds would be too much, and that I could shoot all the blue jays I wanted~if I could hit 'em~but to remember it was a sin to kill a mockingbird. Well, I reckon because mockingbirds don't do anything but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat people's gardens, don't nest in the corncrib, they don't do one thing but just sing their hearts out for us."~Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck) in "To Kill a Mockingbird"

"This here's Miss Bonnie Parker. I'm Clyde Barrow. We rob banks."~Clyde (Warren Beatty) of partner Bonnie (Faye Dunaway) in~naturally~"Bonnie & Clyde"

"When this drunk gave me a ten spot, I couldn't get very excited. What was it? A piece of paper crawling with germs."~Al Roberts (Tom Neal), the endlessly unlucky guy in the amazing film noir "Detour" (1945)

"Money. You know what that is, the stuff you never have enough of. Little green things with George Washington's picture that men slave for, commit crimes for, die for. It's the stuff that has caused more trouble in the world than anything else we ever invented, simply because there's too little of it."~more of Al's memorable bellyaching in "Detour"

"Life's like a ball game. You gotta take a swing at whatever comes along before you find it's the ninth inning."~Al in "Detour"

By the way, I'm watching "Detour" right now~thus the great hard-bitten quotes!

Henry Jackson: Hi, Peter!

Peter Parker: Hey, Henry! You've grown tall.

Aunt May: You'll never guess who he wants to be... Spider-Man!

Peter Parker: Why?

Aunt May: He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that, saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.

Cinda F*cking Rella (Pretty Woman)
