Asian films (movies)?!
Question: has anyone noticed that in the true asian films it always has to do with water and hair?? juon, ringu, the ghost, apartment 1303, reincarnation, just to name a few... i have noticed this in several asia horror movies.. i am just wondering if there is a meaning behind this? is it a culture thing? maybe a way to scare the ones there?? myself, i find asian horror more fullfilling because it acts upon a persons fear and not a made up character...

im asian and in asia, there are many reports of ghosts with long, wet hair all the way down covering their faces. This is a sign of fright.
Those films are all pretty generic. Try Ichi the Killer, Audition, A Tale of Two Sisters, Kairo, Infection, and The Eye 2.
