What is the worst film ever made?!
Question: Official contenders for the title include movies like "Plan 9 From Outer Space", but there have been some truly awful modern movies too:
Highlander 2. What the hell was that all about? I've seen better plots on Barney & Friends!
Batman. Now before you say "it's a classic" bear in mind that the special effects were considered as lame then as they are now, and Kim Bassinger was a plank of wood.
Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. The originals were fantastic (especially The Empire Strikes Back) and when I learned about the new trilogy EIGHT YEARS before it came out, I was pretty excited and I had a long, long, long, long wait!
What did I get? F****ing muppets and reject characters for "A Bugs Life". It wasn't just bad, it was an abomination.
But then there are the movies that were good entertainment but just plain nasty:
Starship Troopers. Fascist, evil movie. And before anyone says it was a "satire" I direct your attention to the children's CGI cartoon show.
The Deer Hunter. Total BS, this movie is appallingly racist; the bamboo cages are a work of fiction.
JFK. Another Oliver Stone movie, he deliberately created a movie based on a composite of outlandish conspiracy theories and portrayed the story as factual. People have died because of that movie.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That was the movie that debased morality in America; ever since it was released, movies and TV shows have become ever nastier and more graphic.

Lost in space - not the old ones but the new ones. Went to watch it at the movies with my family - we all fell asleep. Best sleep through a movie that i ever had =) lol

Razorback, Requiem for a Dream or Angela's Ashes - the latter two being two of the most depressing films ever made.
The first Jackass movie was pretty bad, probably the only movie I have ever fallen asleep watching.

To the person that said Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I am not meaning to be rude, but it is not in the slightest bit graphic, especially in comparison to films that are made today! People hear the title and jump to all sorts of conclusions. And as for morality, please remember that films are a reflection of society - if we didn't have twisted people in real life, there'd be no basis for the film, would there? I don't condone violence in real life, of course, but I don't think you can blame a movie for the descent of moral values.
