Ever after question?!

Question: in the movie EVER AFTER (1998) when the old lady at the end says, "the point, gentlemen, is that they lived." did she mean that they existed? or that they were free to live and love each other? thanks!

"The point, gentlemen, is that they lived".

The point is that they lived, they were real people with real lives and they existed to love one another and that their love was carried on through their children and great grandchildren, (old lady).

It reminds me when I see my daughters eyes (my grandfathers eyes) and lips (grandmothers lips) of how much they loved each other and what they went through to be together.

A great movie and an even greater love story!

Yes, that they enjoyesd life to it's fullest. One of my fave movies.

free to live and love
