I loved the plot in the following:

The Prestige
Dead Poets Society
Identity
Donnie Darko (still struggling a bit with that plot mind you)
Totall Recall
The Fifth Element
WaterWorld (you and me must be the only two that liked this film)
The Wicker Man (I stress the original)
Soylent Green

THE COUNT OF MONTE'CRISTO

12 Angry Men. 1957 Starring Henry Fonda.
The story begins after closing arguments have been presented in a murder case, as the judge is giving his instructions to the jury. According to American law at the time, any jury that will decide whether the death penalty is appropriate must be unanimous. The question they are deciding is whether the defendant, an 18-year-old man, murdered his father. The jury is further instructed that a guilty verdict will be accompanied by a mandatory death sentence (something that could not happen in the current American legal system). The twelve move to the jury room, where they begin to become acquainted with each others' personalities and discuss the case. The plot of the film revolves around their difficulty in reaching a unanimous verdict due, in some cases, to the jurors' prejudices. Throughout their deliberation, not a single juror calls another by name because their names are unknown to each other; however at the end, Sweeney's and Fonda's characters tell their last names (McArdle and Davis, respectively).

i loved these plots in no particular order

Munich (even though it was based on actual events, it was still a great plot)

The Prestige (shows that there is evil in all of us)

Glenngary Glenn Ross (shows people will do anything just ot get by)

Forest Gump (great tribute to Americana)

I know it was far fetched and all but I liked the plots of
28 days later
the twist in sixth sense
A town like alice (australian at its best)
The ring was great too

i loved "the others" and "a beautiful mind" cuz both were so twisted and unexpected...of course that makes it hard to watch again after the first time since you know the ending, but it was soo shocking the first time around

the count of monte cristo

the movie is amazing and i have no idea why someone would put a thumbs down for it. i love it!!!!
