Should I see "The Golden Compass" when it comes out?!

Question: My aunt just sent me an email encouraging me to boycott it because its author, Phillip Pullman, is a "militant" atheist who wrote the books in order to steer children toward atheism. My aunt has been trying to save my soul for years, and she inundates me with email designed to cause my redemption. It hasn't worked yet, and I'm inclined to see the movie now, though I wasn't before.

Yes, because it is an entertaining film.

Most people are not going to pick up on any atheistic message in it, so i wouldn't worry

completely up to u; although if ur going to see it just because she said not too, then no..ur not going becuz u want to see the movie, ur just wanting to piss someone off, so u won't enjoy the money and will technically be wasting the money u spent to see it when u really didn't want to in the first place.

It's up to you if you go and see it. Go and enjoy the movie you don't have to listen to the message in it. Just have some fun. But it's all up to you if you go or you listen to your aunt.
