If I walked out of a movie within the first half of the showing, could I get a r!

Question: i used to work at a theatre and our policy was if you don't like the movie, you have half an hour from the start of the movie to refund or exchange for a different movie. sometimes depending on the reasons, you could get a refund after 30 min, for example, if you feel extremely sick and need to leave or if there is a disruption in the theatre and its pissing you off, like a baby crying or people being loud

it is not their fault you don't like it.

nope, done that enough times to know its not gonna happen!

No way. Its not the cinema's fault that you didnt like the movie. If you bought a bar of chocolate, ate half of it, then decided that you didnt like it, would you send it back?

no... u idiot... how can u think sumthin like dat.. u r so stupid... retard... dumbarse... suck my balls..........

no,you should of done more research on the movie..

yes, I have done it a few times. They never even argued with me over it. But you can't sit through a good deal of the movie then decide you don't like it.

wow I must go to the nicest theaters in the country huh

no. Hollywood doens't have to follow the same rules as everone else for some reason.
That's what happens when a cabal of beaknoses control an industry.. The quality decreases, the price goes up, and your right as a consumer vanishes.

No, you took a chance that you might like to see the movie by buying a ticket, so you didnt like it and left, that was your choice, you see the movie theatre or the maker of the movie cannot guarentee that everyone will like their movie, thats why they sell tickets ...so you can take the chance :)

no,Have you seen people walk out of a movie and not get a refund...welll there's your awnser. It's true, It isn't their fault if you enjoyed it or not, what matters is if,if they get the profit.and heres another reson if you go to a employe and ask for a refund he would say no because you could be lieing and still get your money even if you enjoyed the movie...

Yeah, i've done it twice. As long as its early in the flick, they never gave me too much grief. Actually they didnt give me cash they gave me a voucher for the price of one movie ticket. They dont mind doing that at all cuz the Money is still coming back to the theatre.
