Gone with the Wind
It has special meaning for me because as a kid growing up my grandparents would talk about their first date and it was the premiere of Gone with the Wind in Atlanta, Georgia....every since, I have been a fan.

dead poets society, this has something to do w the re-awakening of one's self from what was expected for them to do and what one really wants regardless if it's against the rules. giving one's self a chance to live on your own decisions, chances to do something and know that every step of the way --- it's worth it.

ROMEO & JULIET (1968)
I fell in love at first sight with this movie nearly 40 years ago. Everything about it is perfect for me~the cast, the costumes, the sets and sites selected in ancient cities, the glorious music. In some scenes, it is as if a medieval tapestry has come to life. Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey are the ideal Romeo and Juliet, even closely matching the ages of the legendary lovers, the first time that this had been done in films.
Leonard Whiting was my first crush, and I'll bet a lot of girls who were teenagers then might admit to that, too. At our high school, all of the girls were sighing over Len, and the guys thought that Olivia was the perfect girl.
That was the first film that I went back to see repeatedly~if I recall correctly. Back then, people didn't usually see a film more than once. "Romeo & Juliet" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" changed moviegoers. Still, it took awhile before we developed the multiple-viewings pattern.
This should have been Best Picture of the Year, not "Oliver!" although I do love that musical film.

Dirty Dancing Havana Nights
im latina and i married an american blond blue eyes the whole shebang and this movie just reminds me of us a little plus i love dancing and musical movies.
Any movie with Zac Efron is the best movies ever.
