Does anyone else think Borat was a terrible movie?!

i refused to even watch it because i knew it was going to be dumb.

i didnt think that it was terrible, it had its funny parts but lots of times i found myself bored with it. lots of the movie was a drag.
Of course it was a terrible movie. But that doesn't mean it wasn't entertaining. Sometimes you just have to be in a mood to watch a bad movie and appreciate it for what it is.
The problem for me with teh Borat movie was that it was supposed to be a 'Candid Camera' type of joke on America...but it was obvious parts were scripted. I mean did anyone really believe that Pam Anderson wasn't in on the joke when Borat shoved her into a sack? Yet we are supposed to believe that those kids in the RV spoke badly about minorities and women.
Just bad.

Of course, I didn't like the character this actor played on HBO (I've suppressed it) prior to his Borat character. Never thought it was funny or cool.

I couldn't even sit through the whole movie. It was just dumb to me.
Oh well, I guess that's why there are so many different kinds of movies out there. There is s/thing for everyone.
The movie Was slow at making funny points BUT it did have some funny points...
I use some lines from the movie myself, NOT the best movie. on a scale from 1-10 (1-being the worst 10-being the best) I'd say it would be a 5-ish!

Not terrible, but nothing special either. Cohen is a good actor, but the scenes wern't terribly original, and some were staged.
Borat isnt that amazing. it has a few funny one liners that are funnier when brought up later but it was mostly a waste of time.
I didn't see it but I don't think I'd like it very much.
