American Psycho. . .. (movie 2000)?!
Question: There is a scene if i recall in the movie American Psycho, where patrick bateman, (christian Bale) is in an elevator, and Tom Cruise just happens to be in there also, and Bateman says something like hes a huge fan, and then tom cruise points out that his nose is bleeding. . .does anyone remember this part? Someone doesnt believe me, and shes arguing with me about it, i dont have the movie right now, so i thought i would ask other people that have seen it, THANKS!

Apologies, apologies....I've went mad. I've read the book and watched the film and they've melded together in my mind. He does bump into Cruise in the book, but it doesn't happen in the movie. I guess my imagination had it's way with me.....again.

Yes, Tom Cruise was Patrick Bateman's neighbor. They do run into eachother in the elevator. This is the same in the book. :)
i own the movie and dont remember that. though in the book it explicity states that he lives in the same apartment building as tom cruise and they do have that scene.
