Why did spider-man 3 try to squeeze 3 villains in one movie?!

Question: That movie really sucked to me. I loved the first two, but how are you going to put 3 villains in one movie. That was a pretty stupid idea.

Venom should have got his own movie.

wanted more hype

I agree that there were too many villains. They could have easily cut out Sandman and focused more on the other two. Venom was really poorly developed...not much character depth. The plot was kind of dicey too. The first two movies were much much better.

to try to make it "bigger and better" than the others.

They tried to do too much. Not only did I have a prob with so many villains, everything else was rushed. They should have let the Peter Gwen story go through the whole movie. Same thing with MJ & Harry (while Pete and Gwen dated, Harry & MJ were). They tried too much, with not enough time. I think they should have used it for 2 movies. I also hated how they woosed out both the new Goblin and Sandman, at the end. It was nice to see Flint having a family, but how he just faded to dust at the end was lame!

Sales move. We didn't need Sandman at all. Venom was a better villain but too under used. Rumor is that the 4th movie will revolve around Venom, if it's made.

Because that is the way the comics went.

Sandman was originally supposed to be the only villain, but people freaked out because they weren't making a movie with Venom as a villain. So they got the not-so-brilliant idea to stick him in for five minutes. And Harry, well, he had to return, and we all knew it. Venom definitely deserved more screen time, though.

easy

originally the first one was suposed to have 3

besides it was geting boring with just 1.
you have no taste by the way.
