Does anyone know if there's going to be a fourth Resident Evil film?!
Question: I just saw the third yesterday and expected it to tie up all the loose ends and finish there...but it seems to be setting everything up for another sequel in Japan. Can any confirm this or has anyone heard any rumours? I'm addicted to RE and would love to see another one on our screens. Thanks :-)

There's got to be a 4th, just look at how they ended the 3rd - having a load of Alices running around kicking ar$e will be rather entertaining. I'm guessing it'll be 2010 at the earliest though, because Milla is working on the film 'Azazel' due in 2009 at the minute.
There aren't gonna be another fourth Resident Evil Film, as you noticed if you watched Resident Evil Apocalypse, the main character died. And also, no one survived the Apocalypse.
If there is another Resident Evil movie coming out, then it will be released in other countries for sure, in japan.
Hopefully not, the third one was awful, if they release another it will surely be even worse?!
They make more money each time they release one, so in hollywood, that is almost a sure bet that someone is working on number 4 right now.

They are awful. There is no evil. Or any horror.
The film you are thinking of is outside the current continuity and as far as I know, will be all CGI. The title is Biohazard, as that is what Resident Evil is known as in Japan.
