Answers: Im not sure what mine is but salems lot and hellraiser scared the crap out of me.

The Exorcist. I slept with the light on in my room for 3 weeks and was scared to death my bed would suddenly start floating.

It! Creepy clowns!

Dirty Dancing. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray.. . ooooh I'm getting chills just thinking about it.

I never get scared but "It" scared my only b/c I was 4 when I watched it... now I hate clowns :\

silent hill

THE HAUNTING (1962)

It made me afraid of the dark for years.

Ive seen so many its too hard to choose.

<3 me love me some scary movies! <3

The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock.

I'd say Seven was the scariest movie I've seen. It has been ranked on a number of 'scariest movie ever' lists if I recall correctly. Blair Witch Project and Bone Collector were also reasonably scary. I would definitely recommend Blair Witch Project to any fan of scary movies, it was really very well done.

It because the clown is CREEPY and I was only 4 when I saw the first scene where he kills that little girl. Now you can see why I'm afraid of clowns. If you like scary movies, then you will probably like that one. But as for me, I'm not into scary movies AT ALL because I hate lying in bed thinking that someone is about to kill me.

Hello,

I have been around quite a spell watching movies since the late 50's. As a kid, I Was a Teen aged Werewolf really scared me but from an adult perspective, I have to give " Alien " the scariest rating. You did not really see the creature at first but everything from the egg exploding in the astronauts face to the sudden attacks in the vent systems really made me jump and spill my popcorn a few times in the theatre. Also the art work, a half technical and half organic setting to the point of looking obscene was really effective and added to the atmosphere.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

The Exorcist

Darkness Falls.

I saw 30 days of night and it scared the crap out of me!!

The Exorcist was recently voted as the scariest film, but I remember The Alien as being terrifying too.
Psycho is noteworthy also.

Phyllis G.

Dead Mary. It takes about 20mins to get into it but it scared the be-jesus out of me!

Night of the Living Dead
