I loved the movie. The acting was great, the script was great, and the soundtrack and score were wonderful.
However, since my name is Jennifer, everyone in the world suddenly thought they had to call me "Jennay" once the movie came out. You'd think that after well over 10 years it'd stop, but it hasn't.

I liked it because I thought it was a truly compelling story about the story of a mentally retarded man. It's kind of sad though.

It was a great movie. I still remember going to see it when it came out at the theatre. I had no clue what it was about. Some girl wanted to see it, so we went. I loved it of course. Bad thing is its been shown so many times on TV recently that its burned itself out.

forrest gump has to be one of the greatest movies of all time it has to be tom hanks best film but cast away is very close it is great i recomend renting it
Forrest Gump is such a great movie because of how Hanks portrayed him. You really feel for Forrest Gump because of his innocence. You feel sad because he is too good a person that he loses the girl (which is not unlike real life). You feel sorry that Jenny picked him only as her last resort, and only after she had AIDS.
