that one, stunk.....was a weird one......none of the others are like it.......it has nothing to do with Michael Myers.....
As far as John carpenter(the creator of Halloween) was concerned Michael myers was killed off at the end of Halloween II. In fact the only reason carpenter even did a 2nd Halloween film was because of contractual obligations. He wanted to leave it at Halloween I and that was it. So with Halloween III he wanted to go in another direction. I loved Halloween I & II was I was a kid and when Halloween III was shown on tv I was all excited coz i thought it was more michael myers. But it wasnt. It was some mad movie about druids and halloween masks that sprouted snakes and crazy Irishmen. I was really disappointed. However years later when I saw halloween III again as an adult my view of it changed. Its actually a quality film, thats genuinely scary and quite a bit disturbing. And as usual its all done in carpenter's unique style. Id give it another go if I were you.
