...oh, heck yes!!! They were a couple of the best cheezy, but well-intentioned drive-in style horror films, to come out around that time; in the collection of my childhood things, tuckered away in my parents attic, which I had collected over the years, I still have the original double feature poster, displaying these two films...
...Strother Martin's performance as the crazed and vindictive snake expert, was oh-so over the top, and most folks might have been intriqued by Dirk Benedict's humble beginnings, in this film, a few years before he took on the T.V. role as Starbuck, in the late '70's "Battlestar Galactica"...
...unfortunately, only "SSSSSSSS" has seen release, on both VHS and DVD; "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" has yet to see release in either format medium. "...Werewolf" is one of those film, which I think the studios might have forgotten, or have yet to rediscover (...I used to think of the vampire-bat horror/sci-fi shocker, 1974's "Chosen Survivors", as well as the 1976 giant creature sci-fi/horror classic, "Food of the Gods", in the same manner...that is, until they was finally released by MGM/Fox video, recently)...
......I don't know if you've seen any of the Full Moon Pictures' "Puppet Master" films, but if you've seen the 1998 entry entitled "Curse of the Puppet Master", the plot, albeit in a supernatural way, is almost identical to "SSSSSSS"; it's almost a virtual remake...
