What is the name of this Navel movie??!
Question: I am trying to make a list of movies I've seen and am doing pretty well (around 200 remembered so far!). Well, some time in the mid to late 90's I saw this navel movie on TV. Here's
what I remember:
-The guy was in love (i think) with a girl on board
-I think he was being tested to see how good of a captain he was because everyone under him weren't professionals
-Near the end, a guy (looked like a pirate) couldn't fix some wires and had to hold them in his teeth to complete the circut
-He was offered a command and a real crew but decided to keep his rag-tag bunch
-While the credits rolled, the song "in the navy" by village people played (We want you, we want you, we want you, you don't want me, I'm afraid of the water!)
-I think the reason he was offered his own command is because he defeated a real enemy in what was suppose to be a test of his combat skills
-I think it was a sub, but it may have been a navel boat
