Question: so ive just finished watching the whole series 3 on dvd....and i do get it... these are my questions and i want answers...
whats the dela with lock... why doesnt he die, he got shot and ended up in the pit, then he just gets up.?

Hpw did you get this on DVD? my records show that it doesn't hit shelves until Dec. 11th '07.
lock heals from his wound as he heals from every wound he's had on the island. They make note of mentioning, more than once that wounds that would need care for weeks can shed their bandages in days on the island... He gets up from the bullet wound the same way he got out of his wheel chair... but the specifics are still a mystery.
The black mist. It seems to be either a securtiy system of sorts put in place by the that pesky initiative, or an expansion of the island as an entity theory... Again the specifics are unknown, just a wealth of specualtion.

What you seen at the end of season 3 was a flash forward. Season four will still be on the island, i don't think they're going anywhere for a while. I seen a trailer with words like "protect the island" flashign up...
I think locke has been the closest to the truth all along
