The Godfather or The Shawshank Redemption: Which is the best/like more?!
Question: Which is best? I'm so glad that I can like them both and enjoy them both. Although that are both great films, they are quite different, so again, glad I don't have to make a choice and just enjoy, enjoy 'em both.

Its hard to say, I could watch either film over and over again. I'd have to say The Godfather because I like gangster films.
They are two different types of movies. Shawshank being more cerebral. I love both movies for different reasons but I will have to go with Shawshank.

There can be no comparison. Godfather is one of the greatest movies of all time. The stars aligned when this movie was made to allow it to be what it is; perfection, with only GF2 rivaling it. Godfather began a whole resurgence of the gangster movie. There has been none better since or before.
Shawshank is a great movie in its own right, but cannot be compared to the godfather in any way shape or form.
They're both phenomenal movies, but they're so different that it's hard to compare the two.
I am not a big fan of the Godfather so The Shawshank Redemption wins in a landslide!
