Was anyone else suprised by how good Transformers was?!
Question: I thought it was great, but when I heard about it a year ago I thought "Oh no, they're making another dumb spinoff of a televison program." How wrong I was!

I was really surprised! I thought that it would be like a movie for little kids, 'cause my nephew is totally obsessing over them and he's five....but I thought it was pretty neat. I got lost a few times though, but I think that was because there were other distractions around me. (We were on one of those charter busses on a field trip. :p) But overall, it was pretty good.

but i like V for Vendetta more
I thought it would suck too till I heard Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg were making it. Transformers was awesome but the sub-plot with the computer hackers didnt have anything to do with the movie and had no conclusion. They could have easily cut all that out....cant wait for number 2!!!!!!
I was a bit dissappointed with it. They changed the beetle into an old camaro, but then changed it again to a new camaro model which just sucked. They never should have added those stupid looking flames on the truck as well, it was fine the way it was in the cartoons.
