His name was Louis Creed. His son was killed by a transport truck so he buried him in the Indian burial ground to bring him back to life. The little boy comes back not quite himself and kills the neighbor and his mother. Louis then kills the his son by euthenizing him. Stricken with grief and on the verge of losing his mind, he buries his dead wife in the Indian Burial ground hoping this time she will come back the way she was before she died. No such luck. She comes back alright, short one eyeball and she kills him with a butcher knife. They don't show it but you hear him scream. The little girl (Ellie Creed) is the only survivor.
This is one of my favorite horror movies and one of my fav books by Stephen King. Pet Sematary II with Edward Furlong is pretty good too.
the guys last name was creed,i think his first name was george.
she stabbed him but the ending left it up to you to guess, she did it because he buried her on sour ground they came back alive but evil.
I can't remember the dad's name but, he gets stabbed by the wife, and the wife was evil after he buried her in the pet cemetary after gabe killed her
