Although I agree that The Godfather was the the worst movie ever made I do not agree that we should forgive Pacino for playing Michael. Its too bad a talent like him isn't in better movies like Rat Race or Starship Troopers (true American Classics).
You are the first person I've ever heard say something like that about that film classic. Considering it was made during 1970's censorship guidelines, it may be the best film ever. If they could have made it today with realistic language, sex and violence, it would have been even better.
