World I have just watched the best movie of my life?!
Question: If you were to have asked me yesterday what is the best movie i have ever seen? all I could give you was a top 3............Forrest Gump Braveheart and Titanic.
this has been the case for years. Now after 40 of them I can answer that question not with 3 or 5 but one.............
WE ARE MARSHALL
If it wasnt a true story maybe it wouldnt have hit so hard,
but I doubt it... Its centered on a story about a football team but it has little to do with football.
I wont even try to explain the movie further except to say that it is not a film it is a work of art.
It will touch your soul if there is any depth to it and if your a football fan its even better. RENT THE MOVIE it just came out............. WE ARE MARSHALL you will not regret it.

Looks like you've got the same taste as me in films, i also love Braveheart, titanic and forrest Gump (have them all on dvd) but i haven't seen or even heard of that film.
Is that in America that it just came out? If so, i'll be waiting a while here in Ireland but i'll defo keep my eyes peeled for that.!! - Thanks!!

I have never seen it because I hate "sports centered" movies. They always bore me. But I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's a great feeling to see a movie that really moves you!
A very good movie great drama!! has a story(real) that really touches your soul...i think M.Mcconahey(sp) very good and Matthew Fox a great part too
I have never heard of 'we are marshall' but love your 3 other choices. I shall have to keep an eye out for it.
It sounds very inspiring, and I haven't seen this film, but there are lots of other "best movies" -- my favourite is Casablanca, considered a great and timeless film, but I recently saw a Bergman film again, Fanny & Alexander, and while it's still compelling, it didn't have quite the impact it did in my youth.
, . Time whittles out some popular films, just like books and music - hopefully the great ones will endure and not get lost, despite whatever may be "trendy" at certain times.
I am sure to see "We Are Marshall" soon. My kid sister appeared in it with her baby. She happened to be where it was being filmed and was told to walk around the cameras several times. She said I should vist her and be in it too, but many movies are fimed where I live, and I have been seen briefly in dozens of them. She does not know that, for I do not tell her such stuff. I may vist Sis for Xmas. She lives 2750 miles from me.
OK, I'll heed your advice because your 'used to' best three are also included in my Top Ten List, we're on the same boat.
