Maybe it depends who or what sort of person the golfer is. There would be a number of pictures about golfers eg. comedy ones like Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler is in that) and Caddyshack. A serious picture is The Legend of Bagger Vance (Matt Damon is in that as a golfer). I think a lot of actors could play a golfer - would need some lessons if they can't already play, and be able to look tidy and act it well - some could be Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Robert Redford, Tom Hanks, Chris O'Donnell, Kurt Russell, Don Cheadle, Gary Sinise and a lot of others, like the actors in the other answer.
