requiem for a dream is nothing like donnie darko. if you have not seen it, that movie is completely messed up but really makes you take a good hard look at drug use amongst all ages and how it effects your life ultimately when you become addicted. it is truly wonderful. however if you are looking for movies like donnie darko, i suggest watching: The Chumscrubber, Thumbsucker, The Butterfly Effect, The Dangerous Lives Of Altar Boys, Ghost World, American Beauty, Magnolia, Heathers, Rushmore, or Pecker. None of these movies are going to be exactly like Donnie Darko obviously but they are the same genre and very similarly made.

clockwork orange, train spotting...Donnie Darko was so awsome, it made Mel Gibson look like Walt Disney.

find the director of donnie darko, go on imdb.com and do a search for the director, and it should show other movies they've made, you might find something similar that way.
It really depends on what aspect of it you like.
Weird moody stuff I'm guessing. Give City of Lost Children a try or maybe Eraserhead if you really want your brain to scream.
