Question: I wanted to know about the Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker family tie. Vader is Luke's father but is there more to it? Why weren't they close? What happened between them? Rest of the family...? Can you just tell me all the important points about their relationship? (Include Leia if you want..) I just really need anything about their relationship. Thanks!

okay so at first darth vader was sexy anakin skywalker passionate and intense. he fell in love with padme, which was forbidden for a jedi, and they made babies. well, anakin was seduced by the dark side and became darth vader. he felt like everyone, including padme had turned against him. padme was heartbroken and died in childbirth of Luke and Leia. well, vader didn't know about luke for a while until luke was at least a teenager. he didn't know about leia until he read luke's mind when the were fighting. so, in the final battle between vader an luke, the emperor was trying to twist vader's mind even more and get him to kill luke. but vader didn't and ended up killing the emperor, which almost killled vader himself. vader sacrificed himself for his son, and luke realized that vader wasn't a total monster. then luke went back to leia and said they were twins. and they lived happily ever after.

Darth Vader fathered Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia while he was still Anakin Skywalker. Then he turned to the dark side, became evil, and Luke and Leia's mother hid from him before the babies were born. She split them up at birth to further protect them. (Luke and Leia were twins.)
Were separated at birth... sent to live with different families... darth vader wasn't in the picture because he was evil lol

Darth and Luke and Leia's mom tried to work things out, but with his job as dark lord of the Sith demanding so much of his time, he just wasn't able to devote himself to the role of husband and father. They eventually split up, she took the kids to live with her mother, he crashed on his brother's couch for a couple of months. Eventually, he tried to track them down, but she had died in a landspeeder accident, and the kids were sent off to different planets.
