Well worth watching. Excellent movie. The subtitles are not distracting at all. In fact, they are short and very easy to follow.
Word of warning: Do not let kids see this movie!!! It is rated R for good reasons.
I loved it. But then again I've taken a couple of spanish classes. So I like reading subtitles and recognizing a bit of what they are saying.
I thought it was an interesting story for anyone though.
DEFINATLEY WORTH VIEWING. Maybe the best film of 2006 that I saw. Very emotional and moving. Beautiful and original. Oh, ITS SOOOO GOOD!!! I usually hate movies critics recommend (Brokeback Mountain, V for Vendetta, etc.,) But it was so extremely good. Subtitle aren't that bad. The problem with "Hero" and "crouching Tiger" I had to look at the bottom of the screen every 5 seconds but Pan's Labyrinth doesn't do it that frequently.
It's a terrific movie. Do you have a reading disability? If not, what's the problem?
It's worth watching once if you're like me and hate subtitles.
Incredible flick....I was totally drained after I watched it, but it was in a good way. The story is amazing, effects, costumes and makeup are outstanding, and acted perfectly.
