The numbers were a combination to a safe. ;3

1. Gus (Peep Hole Trap)
Dies by looking through a hole in the door, which reveals a "Colt Python" revolver.
2. Obi (The Furnace Trap)
Crawls in a furnace to retrieve two antidotes. When the second antidote is pulled a mechanism starts, and closes the door to the furnace, then the furnace begin to turn its flames on.
3. Xavier/Amanda (The Needle Pit)
Trap was originally meant for Xavier, but Amanda is forced into it. She is thrown into a pit full of needles and syringes. Which of one contains an antidote.
4. Addison/Gus (The Razor Box Trap)
Trap was originally meant for Gus.
A Glass container suspended from the ceiling. Inside, the box contains two antidote syringes, which [supposedly] was only accessible through the two holes underneath. Once the hands are inserted into the holes, the person is unable to pull them back, due to the razors lining each hole.

The reason the victims had numbers on them is because they were the combination to a safe. As for the traps, you should check out the movie for that. Or try IMDB.

The numbers were the combination to a safe that held the antidote to their illness. You should really see it if you enjoy that type of stuff. Great flick.

the numbers on the back of their heads when put together gave them the combination to the safe where the anti dot needles were to save them from the poisonous gas
The way out or antidotes (can't remember) was locked in a safe and the numbers on their heads were parts of the combination to unlock it.
omg those movies are insane! i cant stand watching one without screaming..sorry but i cant help i hardly payed any attention to it when i was watching too bussy screaming! AAHH lol
The numbers were the combination to the safe that held the antidote to the posionous gas that they had all been breathing in.
As for the traps.. well.. honestly you need to watch the movie yourself. Its hard to describe the traps without ruining the whole movie... but i assure you its well worth the watch..
I agree with some of the people above.....you should really watch the movie because just reading the details doesn't do it justice
