Question: I always thought I was a scary movie buff, but I found one that scared the crap outta me.

I saw it in the theater when it first came out and there were a few spots in it that sent a shiver up my spine. I thought it was a great movie.... well done, good effects, and John Cusack was really good.
I totally recommend it.
it didnt do much for me, i actually thought it was kinda lame

Loved the story so I had to see the movie and well I loved it too.
1408 isn't that scary, it's probably just the surround sound you got scared of.
I thought 1408 was a good ghost story more so than a really scary, horror movie. It was good though.
Average, some jumpy bits here and there and i probably wont be seeing it again anytime soon.
It was average, and I doubt i'll see it again only because it kind of had me bored.
It had some boo-scare type moments. I liked 1408 because it showed the whole internal struggle of things he was repressing in his memory. I love how Stephen King showed that if we hold our bad memories inside and not deal with them they can come back to "haunt" us. If you liked 1408 you should like "The Reaping" we saw it this weekend and it really freaked me out. In that "good" sort of way :)
I'm downloading it right now, I think its gonna be a good film, please answer my question about films too???
