Do you cry at soppy films?!

Question: I do

Answers: I do

i never used to, but since becoming a mother i cry at all sorts of daft things...... i think i must have ruptured something in my brain when i was giving birth. lol. anything that shows children crying will set me off, or animals in pain, or if there's an unrequited love story in the film's plot.... hell, just about anything can set me off ! lol.

nice to know i'm not the only one ! thanks for the points. x Report It

  • Yeah me to i just can't hold it in when there are animals involved.

I do too, I'm a big, blubbering wreak at times, lol. I cry at the tv too, I have to have tissues with me every week for Cold Case!

well.. i feel my eyes getting watery and my throat gets a lump in it, but not really..
i cried a bit at Titanic and wouldnt bath for about a week later (i was only 6)
    EDIT:: i showered though!

Yeah me too!! I cry more when animals are killed or die than I do for humans. Lassie was banned in our house when I was a kid as it upset me too much, lol!!

To list but a few of the saddest films....... ET, Armageddon, What Dreams May Come etc...

    only at love stories

    NO
    don't watch em'

If the people or whatever are crying sometimes I get tears even if i don't really care - its annoying

i do if im sad about something in real life, or whats happening is close to the bone ill shed a tear, but normally i can take it :o) usually true stories or based on

Unbelievable, I am 61 and over the past few years I just cannot control my emotions

Yes yes yes. I never used to get so emotional but these days I cry at the slightest thing, especially when animals are involved. When Twosocks dies in 'Dances With Wolves'. That makes me cry.

I dont, its just a movie to me...

    Oh yes...with a lump in m'throat.

I cry at everything! The whole last season of the o.c. had me crying every episode! I watched a cartoon film curious george with my little boy and cried! I really am a true cry baby! xx

I have spent most of my life so far just bottling things up until I met my gf and she made me let my emotions out. Now I am a blubbering wreck, I cry at movies, I get teary at TV and I even got emotional over an episode of Neighbours the other day. It's embarrassing!! lol

    yes

I really don't. I tend to cry during films others don't, such as "1776", a film about the Declaration of Independence! I'm not a flagwaving sort of person. But, the songs in this just get to me: "Mama, Look Sharp", "He Plays the Violin" and others. It also makes me laugh a lot.

But, I don't cry at films most people seem to, animals or not. I don't cry during "Old Yeller", but I do over "E.T." Way back when a date took me to see "Love Story", he cried, but I didn't! He couldn't understand why I wasn't weeping like most of the audience. I told him I couldn't sympathize with such a pottymouthed, bad-tempered girl who was so nasty to everyone.

I don't think I'm hardhearted. I guess a lot of these storylines don't touch my heart.

    ET
    It's A Wonderful Life
    Casablanca

It doesn't bother me when humans die in films, but I get upset when animals are killed, especially when they're killed by the villians.

    e.g
Dances with wolves when the wolf is shot by the bad guy simply for standing there.

I never come close, i dont know why, cause i really get right into the story line. I almost did in Scarface towards the end when he shoots his friend, sorry to people who have seen it

i cried at ET,ghost, titanic and i also cry at any animal programmes

i cry a lot, i cried during passion of the christ, the champ, the note book, as long as it's a sad movie, i cry. sad isn't it?

    Guilty!
