I didn't like it...i ws very young when i watched it...so young tht jonny depp scared me and I actually got a lil turned on by tht about to sex scene...
I didn't like it at first, but came to appreciate it years later just for its style.
I still can't stand Tim Burton and believe he is WAY over rated.
Edit: Seems like I've offended all the Tim Burton ball lickers out there. Lest we forget, this is the same butthole surfer who made that horrendous Planet of the Apes remake.
And what exactly is Tim's gay obsession with having Depp in almost all his movies?

Vincent Price was priceless
it kinda creeps me out, but i still like it. it's definitely not a favorite, but still good
It is a wonderful fantasy film, with comedic, dramatic and bittersweet moments. The acting is excellent, particular Johnny Depp as Edward, who brings another amazing character to life. His scenes with Vincent Price are so sweet. Dianne Wiest is her usual perfect character actress.
The soundtrack by Danny Elfman is perfection, too. Just as Bernard Herrmann was with Ray Harryhausen films, Elfman is a wonderful match with Tim Burton.
Everything is so imaginative, even the notion of this huge, gothic mansion looming over the Easter egg-colored houses in the seemingly perfect neighborhood.
People seem to want to attach that "instant classic" tag to a lot of films, but this one deserves it. It's a modern-day fairytale with the expected life lessons those stories have.
I have the movie and I love it I watch it all the time.
I like Johnny Depp but the movie I thought was kind of corny.

My favourite scene is when winona and johnny are out in the snow and he is making an ice sculpture and she is swirling around under all the floating ice i think its a great scene
And then when she is older telling her granddaughter all about edward thats nice to cause she didnt like him at first then she fell in love with him and had to lose him
its sad but a great movie
