...can't find this slasher film!!!?!
Question: ...I am desperate to find a slasher film from the eighties; no one whom I have asked seems to know what I'm talking about, when I describe it, but I know that it's out there. It's about a bunch of kids at a beach house is killed real gorily (...made that word up, 'cause it definitely fits), using a big hook, a battleaxe, a boat motor, and these tiny rocks (...I forget the name of the rocks, but in the film, they are used like darts). At the end of the film, despite the killer being cut in half by a car, when it slams into a brick wall, he still comes back to life, right before the credits roll, and uses the battle axe to cut off the leg of a cop, who tries to come to the rescue (...I always thought that this ending was SOOOOOOO COOL!!!)...
...gotta find this film; anyone else out there see this???

...one of my favorite obscure and rare '80's slasher horror film, you're definitely talking about the oh-so bloody 1985 shock film, "Fall Break", which was released theatrically, here in the states, under the title, "The Mutilator"...
...if you recall, one of the kids at the beach house, was the son of the killer; when he was a small boy, the kid inadvertantly shot his mom in the back, while cleaning his father's guns for his birthday. When the father came home from hunting, he finds out what happened, pushes his son roughly aside, cradles his dead wife, sinks into a mindless catatonia, and for all intents and purposes, disappears, or gets sent to an asylum, or something...
Club Dread, i think this is a remake of the film your talking about but i can't for the life of me remember what its called.
I'm sorry to disappoint you but that is the base formula for all slasher films, try Friday the 13th or Halloween though.
