8 1/2. You keep searching for answers that will help you go on with reality, but keep finding confort in memories and phantasy; in the end, the answer was right there all the time.

Can't narrow it down to just one . . . Here are a few . . .
1. Mosquito Coast with Harrison Ford - His Best Role Ever.
2. One True Thing with Meryl Streep and Rene Zellwiger -
Makes me cry like a baby.
3. The Burbs with Tom Hanks, Bruce Dern, Carrier Fisher -
This movie just cracks me up.
4. Jeepers Creepers - That monster is COOL.

Bridges Of Madison County stars Meryll Streep & Clint Eastwood.

The Odysseus!!IT's sooo coool!!!AND HSM2!9I DONT KNOW BOUT U GUYS BUT ITS MY ANSWER DONT MISJUDGE ME IF U HATE BOTH MOVIES!!

The Princess Bride. What's not to love?! It has romance, action, adventure, giants, beautiful women, a hero, several evil villains, swashbuckling swordfighting, a pontificating minister, horses, a fire swamp, pirates, and true love!

American History X Is Amazing
But my all time favorite film is
The Empire Strikes Back
For several reasons
1 The best plot twist in movie history, the biggest audience reaction to a plot twist I ever saw. No plot twist ever stunned me worse.
2 The only movie I ever saw to get a standing ovation, BEFORE it came on and AFTER it went off.
3 I waited in line for four hours to see it and it was 20 degrees (Christmas 1980 I was 14) and It would have been worth four times that wait after I saw it.

The Boondock Saints - I killed your cat! I thought that it would bring closure to our relationship!

the usual suspects - first time i saw it i was in awe
the prestige - christian bale

SNATCH heaps of great actors great lines always makes me laugh and i love how everything falls together in the end. And the fact they say F*ck that many times it nearly killed my grandmother lol

300 - you never get tired of watching King Leonidas sword slashing blood bath war on those Persians

The Exorcist
Reasons:
1. The first movie to scare the crap out of me (it was the TV version that I saw with the bed shaking when I was a kid)
2. Sound effects (during many of the scenes the subtle music and whispering voices and sound effects were intense)
3. Incredible photography and editing (opening sequence really sets the mood with the dogs fighting in the desert and then the devil and the priest framed in the same shot with a fade to Georgetown)
4. Intensity of the scenes in the room - the cold environment mixed with the claustrophobic photography to make you really uncomfortable watching the events going on
5. Lighting was spectacular and really highlighted the darkness and the menacing scenes that were to come (example - the exorcist standing in the lamplight with the fog)

There are so many more elements that made this movie my favorite. It changed horror and really showed that a film could truly scare audiences and shock them as well.

Gone With The Wind... it takes you to a totally different place and time. You learn some things about history that you probably wouldn't have otherwise and the costumes are out of this world... and it was made 60 years ago. Amazing!!
