Question: Okay when they are in the realm of the witch(Cate Blanchett) There are a bunch of elves that come out with the arrows. There is an actor who looks similar to Orlando Bloom's character. The same elf also joins the fight in like the end of the second movie. He's the really jerky one. I don't know his name otherwise i'd check on IMDB.

The character's name is Haldir. He is Galadirel's head archmen for her Lothlorian Army. The actor's name is Craig Parker.

All those elves looked like long haired Vulcans to me.
Craig Parker - actually a very nice guy in real life, not to mention cute. He played Haldir.
Craig Parker. He played Haldir. His character unfortunatly dies at the end.
But in the book Haldir doesn't even go to Helm's Deep.
