28 days later or 28 weeks later?!

Question: Which do you like better? Why?

Answers: Which do you like better? Why?

28 days later was so realistic and scary...I loved it! I honestly could not get through 28 weeks later. I was so bored, I really did not care what happened. More is not necessarily better!

28 weeks later because it's has more action and more infection spreading.

28 weeks later is much better! way gnarlier.

before 28 weeks later, 28 days later was my favorite Zombie flick. Now, I think 28 weeks later is the preeminent modern day zombie film that all others must stand in judgment. I know that all the Romero sycophants wont wanna hear this but its true.

Days was a better story

28 days later was a better movie because "weeks" had plotholes as well as being a piece of anti american propoganda. Sometimes if you have an opinion it is best to try to focus your talents on making your voice be heard and not hinding it behind a zobie-esque movie!

28 days later put the scare in you that there could actually be an infectious virus that could spread rapidly and wipe out a nation.
The beginning sequence, when Jim walks the empty streets of London is amazing and impressing. (How did they get all those areas vacant on such a low budget?) it also creeps you out terribly.
The story makes you feel empathy for the characters by developing them and making you care for them as human beings. The story also gradually builds, and isn't a totally in your face gore fest that we're used to.
The storyline itself is well thought out and comes to a climax and is thrilling by the end when JIm is trying to save the girls.

Whether they are saved or not is left up to our imaginations, which I like in a movie, leaving some mystery.

28 weeks later just didn't have the same character development, so I didn't feel anything when people were infected. I felt like some of the special effects were overdone and unrealistic like when the helicopter chopped up a bunch of infected people. But, bigger budget, bigger effects.

All in all, 28 days just had a better story line, and 28 weeks "felt" like a sequel trying to outdo a cult classic.

i actually liked both but id say 28 days later was slightly better
